Safestore is the UK’s largest self-storage group, with 210 stores as of 31 July 2025. It comprises 139 UK stores, 32 in the Paris region, 16 in Spain, 16 in the Netherlands, and 7 in Belgium, plus 7 Germany stores via a Carlyle JV and 12 Italy stores via a Nuveen JV. Founded in 1998, it acquired Une Piece en Plus (UPP) in 2004. Listed on the LSE since 2007, FTSE 250 since 2015, serving about 98,000 customers.
