Otter Tail Corporation and its subsidiaries operate electric utility, manufacturing, and plastics businesses in the United States. It has three segments: Electric, Manufacturing, and Plastics. The Manufacturing segment provides metal fabrication and thermoformed plastics for agriculture, construction, horticulture, industrial, lawn and garden, and related markets, with facilities in Georgia, Illinois, and Minnesota and mainly US sales. The Plastics segment manufactures PVC pipes for municipal water, wastewater, drainage, and related uses, serving horticulture, medical and life sciences, industrial, recreation, and electronics sectors, marketed through independent reps, company sales staff, and customer service personnel. Founded 1907; headquartered in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
