NS United Kaiun Kaisha, Ltd. and its subsidiaries provide marine transportation services in Japan and worldwide. The company operates in two segments: International Shipping and Coastal Shipping. International handles bulk carriage of iron ore, coking coal, steel products, and nonferrous ores by bulk carriers; LPG and other liquids by tankers; vessel leasing; energy resources transport; and tramp chartering. Coastal handles domestic bulk carriage of steel, limestone, and cement; LPG, LNG, and other liquids by tankers; and vessel leasing. As of June 25, 2025, it operated 140 ocean-going and 80 coastal vessels. Founded in 1950, it is headquartered in Tokyo.
