MINERA.SN (Santiago)

Minera Valparaiso S.A. is an investment company involved in energy production and related infrastructure. It handles transport, distribution, supply, and sale of electric power, and sells natural gas to industrial processes. It also manages hydraulic and electrical systems and central power generators, and produces wood, pulp, packaging, paper, tissue, and personal care products, plus leases properties. It was renamed in 1969 from Sociedad Fábrica de Cemento El Melón S.A. and is based in Santiago, Chile; founded 1906.
