Mechel PAO is a Moscow-based company that produces and sells steel and related products in Russia through three segments: Metals, Mining, and Energy. It supplies coal and iron ore concentrates, coke, PCI coal, thermal coal, and industrial products; rolled and flat-rolled stainless steel, hardware and stampings; forged products, rails, and ferrosilicon. It also generates heat and electricity and offers rail, road, and water freight transportation and forwarding services. Formerly Mechel OAO, renamed in 2016. Incorporated in 2003.
