Iren SpA and its subsidiaries are a multi-utility company in Italy with Networks, Waste Management, Energy, Market and Other Services. It produces and distributes electricity from hydro, cogeneration, thermoelectric and renewables, and distributes natural gas. It serves about 729,000 electricity customers on 7,872 km of networks and 738,000 gas customers on 8,160 km of pipelines. Its water cycle serves 2.9 million residents over 20,358 km of pipes and 11,279 km of sewers. It also provides street lighting, heating, waste collection, snow clearing, laboratories and telecoms. It operates 35 hydro plants, 7 cogeneration plants, 1 thermoelectric plant and 105 photovoltaic plants (142 MW). Based in Reggio Emilia.
