Ion Beam Applications SA designs, produces, and markets cancer diagnosis and treatment solutions, with activities in Belgium and the United States. It comprises Proton Therapy and Other Accelerators, and Dosimetry segments. The Proton Therapy and Other Accelerators unit develops and services medical and industrial accelerators and proton therapy systems, offers turnkey proton treatments, and cyclotrons for PET/SPECT isotopes. The Dosimetry unit supports QA and calibration in radiation therapy and imaging. Founded 1986, headquartered in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
