Antero Resources Corporation is an independent oil and natural gas company that develops, produces, explores, and acquires natural gas, NGLs, and oil in the United States. It has three segments: Exploration and Production; Marketing; and Equity Method Investment in Antero Midstream. As of December 31, 2025, it held about 537,000 net acres in the Appalachian Basin and 168,000 net acres in the Upper Devonian Shale, plus 731 miles of gas gathering pipelines in Appalachia. Formerly Antero Resources Appalachian Corporation, renamed in 2013. Founded 2002, based in Denver.
