Vedanta partners with Beicip-Franlab to expand Northeast exploration

Vedanta Oil and Gas has partnered with Beicip-Franlab to accelerate prospect maturation and expand its exploration portfolio in Northeast India. The programme targets integrated subsurface evaluations, resource characterization and field development planning, aiming for a pipeline of drill-ready prospects and up to 300 MMboe of additional resources and reserves. Vedanta also previously flagged Rs 50,000 crore investment in Assam and Tripura over 3-4 years.
