Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared the successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding for an inter-state transmission system to evacuate 6 GW of renewable power from Rajasthan REZ Phase-IV. The company quoted Rs 3,244.33 crore annually and received a Letter of Intent on 2 September 2026 for 800 kV HVDC terminals and a ~1,000 km bipole line from Barmer-II to South Kalamb.
