Export-Import Bank of the U.S. approved a $25 million direct, non-dilutive loan to advance Westwater Resources’ Kellyton Graphite Plant in central Alabama. Funds will support construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and operational readiness, supporting commercial production in 2027. Westwater is also developing the Coosa Graphite Deposit about 30 miles away as a long-term domestic feed source for the plant.
