Equinor, Aker BP and Vår Energi are creating a strategic exploration collaboration on Norway’s continental shelf. Over 4–5 years they will pool expertise, data and exploration capacity to mature and test about 20–25 opportunities and plan to drill around five high-impact exploration wells annually. The effort targets new standalone developments and helps sustain NCS activity and energy supplies to Europe as production declines after 2035.
