Zoomlion Starts Eight-Day Disinfection in Central Region Public Facilities

On August 20, Zoomlion Company Limited began an eight-day disinfection and disinfestation exercise across selected public facilities in 22 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in Ghana’s Central Region. The flooding increased contamination and disease-vector breeding, and the team—led by a 10-member spraying gang including two female operatives—sprayed public toilet sites, refuse container areas, dump sites, school libraries and other spaces in Cape Coast, KEEA and AAK to reduce outbreak risk as cleanup continues.
