Zillow and Redfin settle FTC antitrust case over rental listing partnership
Zillow and Redfin reached a settlement with the FTC and five states over a 2025 rental-listing partnership that regulators said reduced competition. The FTC alleged Zillow paid Redfin $100 million to limit Redfin’s rental advertising for up to nine years. Under the deal, Redfin must reenter rental advertising, while it can still display Zillow listings.
