Zach Dell’s Base, cofounded with Michael Dell in 2023, raised another $1 billion in a Series D as it scales rapidly from about one home battery system installation per day to over 100 per day. The three-year-old company has over 30,000 customers, expanded from Texas to Illinois, and offers home electricity and backup power via battery storage, not gas generators, including a $95 installation offer.
