YIT to Deliver Oulu Passenger Rail Yard Project Under EUR 30M Contract

YIT has agreed with Finland’s Transport Infrastructure Agency to implement the Oulu Passenger Rail Yard RU2 as an all-in fixed-price contract worth about EUR 30 million. The project modernizes station platforms, builds two new platforms and underpasses, and adds tracks, drainage, lighting, electrification, and safety systems. Construction starts September 2026 and ends by end-2029, with train traffic maintained.
