Yang Ming Marine Transport ordered six 13,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel container vessels from Hanwha Ocean for delivery in 2028–2029. The ships will run on LNG with ammonia-fuel readiness and include type B tanks, wind shields, rudder bulbs, pre-swirl stators and shore power. The contract supports Yang Ming’s fleet renewal, targeting 24 new vessels entering service by 2030.
