Yamaha Motor to Permanently Close Cypress Finance Facility

Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A. plans to relocate operations from Cypress to Georgia and will permanently close its 278,964-square-foot manufacturing facility on Katella Avenue in October. A WARN letter says only Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation employees are affected: 61 workers, including about 58 laid off Oct. 1, with three departing in January 2027. The company also plans to sell the 25-acre Cypress campus.
