XPeng Assumes Direct UK Sales Control Ahead of New Models
XPeng is establishing a National Sales Company in the United Kingdom, taking strategic and commercial control from distributor International Motors within 18 months of market entry. After 331 registrations in March 2025, sales fell to single digits in April and May, with 900 sold in 2025. The company plans to debut the L03 SUV and X9 MPV, and reports about 1,830 UK registrations since launch. In Australia, a Federal Court dismissed TrueEV’s case after it failed to pay a AU$1.26 million security bond.
