Xcel Energy filed with the Public Utility Commission of Texas to refund $34,928,840 in over-collected fuel costs from July 2025 through April 2026. The adjustment applies only to the fuel portion of Texas electricity rates and would be issued as a one-time customer credit in September 2026, about $15.69 for the average residential customer.
