WSP Global reports record $20.1B backlog and raised outlook after TRC deal
WSP Global reported net profit attributable to shareholders of $246.1 million in the second quarter and said its backlog rose to a record $20.1 billion as of June 26. The Montreal-based engineering firm also increased headcount to about 83,000 from 72,600 a year earlier. It expects net revenues of $16.2 billion to $17 billion and adjusted earnings before deductions of $3.1 billion to $3.18 billion.
