WPP to cut up to 1,000 more jobs by year-end as restructuring accelerates
WPP will cut up to 1,000 more jobs by year-end, accelerating a restructuring under new chief Cindy Rose. The plan aims to simplify the business and bring Ogilvy, VML and AKQA under a WPP Creative umbrella to better leverage AI as clients shift. Since early 2025, WPP has cut about 11,000 jobs and reduced assets, while also seeking to lower its property portfolio.
