Worker Hospitalized After Arm Stuck in Conveyor at Pilgrim’s Pride Plant
A sanitation worker at Pilgrim’s Pride’s downtown Chattanooga facility remains hospitalized after his arm became stuck in a conveyor while cleaning equipment. Fire officials said firefighters transported him to the hospital with his arm still entangled as three maintenance workers disconnected the belt and tried reversing it. The company supports him and his family, and OSHA was notified.
