Wolters Kluwer Finds Italy’s Tax and Accounting Succession Gap
Wolters Kluwer’s Italian Advisory Barometer says more than 70% of advisors are over 50 and only one in eight firms are prepared for succession. A survey of 440 firms finds under-40 talent is scarce and smaller practices face the steepest risk, with many lacking succession or training plans. Recruiting qualified tax and accounting professionals is widely rated difficult, reflecting limits from firm size and profitability.
