Wizz Air says its Belgrade base at Nikola Tesla Airport is at risk after a dispute with Serbia’s civil aviation regulator over rules for the third and fourth freedoms of the air escalated to Brussels. The airline estimates its summer contribution to the Serbian economy at several hundred million euros and notes four aircraft there handle about 22% of traffic, with a petition of 25,000 supporting the base.
