Windanker Offshore Wind Farm Starts Feeding Power into German Grid
The Windanker offshore wind farm has begun feeding electricity into the German grid, with TSO 50Hertz completing final Ostwind 3 commissioning tests. Most of the 21 turbines are already supplying power via the Jasmund offshore platform, the roughly 100-kilometre subsea and land cable, and the Stilow substation near Greifswald. Ostwind 3 is set for end-September completion, while Windanker commissioning is scheduled for Q4 2026.
