Wienerberger’s half-year report to 30 June 2026 confirmed a deteriorating outlook: revenue rose 4% to EUR 2,434 million, but operating EBITDA fell 15% to EUR 326 million and EBIT dropped 70% to EUR 60 million, shrinking the margin to 13.4%. A rating agency kept the Baa3 rating but revised the outlook to negative on weaker earnings and higher leverage, while EBITDA guidance fell to about EUR 700 million.
