WhiteFiber Agrees to Buy Two Yadkin County Data-Center Sites for $60 Million
WhiteFiber agreed to pay $60 million in cash for two industrial properties in Yadkin County, North Carolina, targeting initial data-center capacity in Q3 2027. The sites could support about 200 gross MW and are about 55 miles from its NC-1 campus. WhiteFiber said the letters are not binding revenue contracts, cited a retrofit-first strategy, reported $60.4 million cash and restricted cash at June 30, and said it did not disclose funding beyond cash consideration.
