Europe is becoming a key growth market for China’s autonomous driving firms as they commercialise beyond home amid intensifying regulatory scrutiny. WeRide plans, with GreenMobility subject to regulatory approvals, to launch a public robotaxi service in Denmark in the first half of 2027. Earlier this year it expanded into Spain and Slovakia, adding deployments in France, Belgium and Switzerland.
