WeRide Considers Australia, Japan and Southeast Asia for Expansion
WeRide’s CEO said the autonomous driving firm is weighing Australia, South Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia as new markets, and is also in talks with European countries. The company said its vehicles operate across more than 60 cities in 13 countries, and it plans to hire locally and work with authorities. Q2 EBITDA loss narrowed, and it targets positive cash flow in one quarter by 2028 and full-year break-even in 2029.
