Wells Fargo Expands Wealth Adviser Hiring After $1.5 Billion Overhaul
Wells Fargo is stepping up wealth-management hiring to attract independent advisers who use the bank’s platform rather than serving as full-time employees. Those advisers have brought in $17 billion this year, complementing $24 billion added by new full-time advisers. After a five-year revamp, including $1.5 billion in technology upgrades, the bank is now recruiting hundreds of advisers.
