We Energies Says Oracle Dispute Won’t Disrupt Port Washington Data Center Plan
We Energies told shareholders the dispute between Oracle and Wisconsin regulators over new credit-rating requirements for data center operators will not threaten a planned hyperscale data center in Port Washington. The Wisconsin Public Service Commission approved a rate structure in April that sets a AAA- threshold and collateral to protect ratepayers from potential cost shifts if an operator becomes insolvent.
