Denver residents and visitors can virtually hail Waymo’s driverless vehicles starting Tuesday via the Waymo app. After months of street sightings used mainly for training, the fleet will operate in a 60-square-mile downtown-focused zone, extending to the Central Park area but excluding Denver International Airport and nearby cities. Fares will be similar to Uber and Lyft. A pedestrian crossing required a gradual stop during early operations.
