Warteck Invest Grows EBIT as Profit Slips on Higher Taxes
Warteck Invest reported higher first-half 2026 EBIT, up 4.3% to CHF 27.0 million, supported by rental income from strong housing demand and improved vacancy to 2.2%. Group profit fell 9.4% to CHF 18.0 million as taxes rose sharply after property holding-period adjustments. The company bought 116 apartments in Münchenstein, sold a Basel property, and advanced a CHF 230 million project pipeline.
