Walmart expands its own fast EV charging network at stores
Walmart is expanding an in-house EV charging network because most Americans live near its stores and they sit beside major highways, helping fill local charging gaps. The rollout builds on third-party chargers but uses Walmart-controlled, well-maintained 400 kW fast units with dual cords. Charges typically take about 30 minutes; customers pay via the Walmart app (credit cards being tested).
