Walmart edges up as $95 oil pressures risk assets
Walmart inched up to $106.04 as $95 oil, geopolitical tension, and bond-market stress weighed on risk assets. Second-quarter results showed revenue rising 5.9% to $187.9 billion, e-commerce up 23%, advertising up 38%, and membership revenue up 17%. First-half operating cash flow reached $19.7 billion, while free cash flow fell 1.4%, as inventory grew 6.7% amid higher freight cost pressure.
