Volkswagen Plans to Cut Majority Stake in Traton to 75%+1 Share
Volkswagen is preparing to trim its Traton majority holding, aiming for 75% plus one share to keep control as it increases cost discipline. Traton CEO Christian Levin said the main owner has raised pressure and that a larger free float could draw investors. VW has already sold 2.2% in March 2025, prompting further portfolio scrutiny.
