Volkswagen’s board of supervisors has approved a restructuring plan that adds 50,000 more job cuts, bringing the planned total to 100,000 across a workforce of over 650,000. The company will also close four plants in Emden, Hanover, Neckarsulm and Zwickau, seeking alternatives that could include selling operations to other automakers.
