For April–June 2026, Vodafone Idea reported its first quarter of net customer additions since the 2018 merger of Idea Cellular and Vodafone India. The previous six months saw losses of more than 3.6 million customers, and subscriber totals remain below rivals. The carrier cited added 4G sites and expansion of 5G from Delhi, but net adds of 200,000–300,000 are still modest as stability perceptions improve.
