Vodafone Idea and BSNL Agree on Nationwide Network Sharing Deal

Vodafone Idea and state-run BSNL have agreed to share networks across all telecom circles in India, including intra- and inter-circle roaming plus sharing of towers and optical fibre infrastructure. The deal is expected to expand coverage while reducing capital and operating costs. Vodafone Idea also reported progress securing funding for its Rs 45,000 crore three-year capex plan, raising Rs 6,400 crore and placing about Rs 9,000 crore in orders.
