Vodacom Unveils Nyerere Cycling Tour and Vodacom Coastal Classic Race

Vodacom Tanzania and the Cycling Federation of Tanzania renamed the Twende Butiama Tour as the Nyerere Cycling Tour and launched the Vodacom Coastal Classic, a 109-kilometre race. The Nyerere Cycling Tour runs October 5 to 14, riding from Bagamoyo to Butiama, while the Coastal Classic will be held annually on the first Sunday of October, starting October 4 and expected to draw 400-plus cyclists.
