Vodacom marks International Literacy Day 2026 by stressing that digital and information literacy must accompany connectivity. It says 4 million people accessed education via e-learning platforms and school connectivity, while TechStart trained 400,000+ young people and delivered 101,628 certifications. In FY2026, 9,441 girls received Code Like A Girl training, alongside literacy and teacher programmes in Tanzania.
