Vodacom Executives Sell R9.9m Shares to Settle Tax From Vested Awards
Five Vodacom executives and the company secretary sold a total of 63,216 shares worth about R9.93 million to settle tax obligations triggered by the vesting of shares under the company’s conditional and forfeitable share plan. The on-market sales on 11 August were disclosed under JSE rules, with clearance to deal obtained, and proceeds used to pay the tax.
