Vodacom Group appointed Segun Ogunsanya, former CEO of Airtel Africa, as an independent non-executive director effective 9 October. His experience includes leading Airtel Africa and expanding Airtel Money, aligning with Vodacom’s Vision 2030 financial-services strategy. Ogunsanya resigned from Optasia ahead of the move. Chairman Saki Macozoma will retire at the 2027 AGM, and Phuthi Mahanyele-Dabengwa will leave the board on 8 October.
