Vista Energy shares rise after Peter Thiel hedge fund buys stake in Argentine shale producer
Vista Energy jumped in premarket after filings showed billionaire Peter Thiel’s hedge fund bought a stake in the Argentine shale oil producer. Thiel Macro reported about 1.2 million American Depository Shares worth roughly $76 million. The fund disclosed new energy and utility positions and also met senior officials in President Javier Milei’s administration.
