Visa Gets 3-Month Discovery Extension in DOJ Debit Card Antitrust Case
Visa and the U.S. Department of Justice received an additional three months to complete discovery in the government’s debit card antitrust lawsuit. A magistrate judge extended the fact-discovery deadline to Jan. 29, 2027, and required documents to be produced by Sept. 30. Visa has already turned over more than 6 million documents from about 200 requests, with additional depositions scheduled.
