Viridien and Petronas Start Integrated Exploration Study in Sabah

Viridien said Sept. 1, 2026 it is launching the Integrated Prospectivity and Subsurface Study (IPSS) with Petronas through Malaysia Petroleum Management, combining geological, geophysical, remote-sensing, field and lab data to assess basin-scale prospects. The work targets onshore Sabah where modern seismic coverage is limited and aims to identify exploration opportunities, with a 2026 net cash-flow objective of $100M and possible short-term project award delays.
