Virginia American Water, a subsidiary of American Water, said it will invest more than $360 million over the next five years to upgrade its water and wastewater systems after the ASCE 2026 Report Card gave Virginia drinking water a C+ and wastewater a D+. The utility serves about 365,000 people in Virginia with 115 employees supporting regulated service.
