Virgin Australia trims capacity after profit beat and declares first dividend
Virgin Australia reported underlying net profit after tax of A$404m for the 12 months to June 30, up 21.9%, and declared a fully franked 7.6 cents-a-share dividend. Supported by strong travel demand, its transformation program and fuel hedging, it expects first-half RASK to rise 6%–8% as it manages capacity more tightly.
