Vipshop Posts 24.7B Yuan Q2 Revenue and Near $400M H1 Shareholder Returns
Vipshop reported net revenue of 24.7 billion yuan in the quarter and non-GAAP profit of 392 million yuan, which swung sharply from the prior year mainly due to a one-off withholding tax adjustment tied to historical dividends. In Q2, the company accrued about 1.56 billion yuan of withholding tax on payments from mainland China to Hong Kong. Super Brand Day and Super Category Day grew double digits, and SVIP users drove over half of online sales. In H1, Vipshop returned nearly $400 million via dividends and share repurchases.
